Travelling from Halle to Brussels city center can

  • by bike – From the centre of Halle to the heart of Brussels, it is 17 km to cycle. The route runs along the Charleroi canal, first across the eastern bank of the canal, then along the western side of it. The Blue bikes are under the dome of the Halle station. See https://www.blue-bike.be/ For the bicycle point, go to the buses and continue along the Van den Peerenboomstraat to the bicycle parking facility and the bicycle point. In the centre of Brussels, you can also rent a Villo! bike at the Central Station to explore the city. (Beware, many cycle stations are currently closed due to works) – https://www.villo.be/en/home
  • by bus – Bus 170 from De Lijn runs from Halle to Brussels – https://www.delijn.be/en/?vertaling=true
  • by train, the fastest and easiest way – There are a few direct trains per hour from Halle to Brussels Central and you are about 15 minutes away from our capital city – http://www.belgianrail.be/jp/sncb-nmbs-routeplanner/query.exe/en
  • by car, not really recommended – try to avoid the rush hours in any case! In the center there are several car parks at your disposal.
