Typical Brussels cafés

A few traditional Brussels cafés with a story

There is no shortage of nightlife in Brussels. The Belgian’s favourite pastime is ‘having a drink’ with friends in the café around the corner. And not any other pint. When it comes to beer, Brussels is world-famous. When you talk about typical Brussels beers, you’re talking about Lambic, Geuze, Kriek, Faro,…all brewed with a lot of love on the Senne. You can taste these typical Brussels beers and the many Belgian beers in a typical Brussels café or staminee. Weather permitting, the friends can enjoy a ’terrace’. So you’ll have no trouble finding a café in Brussels. Each café has its own style and atmosphere. There are too many to mention, so I’ll limit myself to a few traditional Brussels cafés with a story.
